The album photography
The entire photo shoot for Planets Aligned was done at Sydney Park, in St Peters, Sydney, one of Anne-Lise's favourite haunts during the time of recording the album. She'd go bike riding almost every day through the park. Some fantastic locations all within walking distance of each other. Perfect for the different moods of Planets Aligned. Yve Lavine, Anne-Lise's long time trusted photographer, was given a brief of natural glamour mixed with gargantuan epic emotion. We think she's done the perfect job! The cello photos were done at the end of the day as the sun began to set. Anne-Lise had dreamt of a photo of "a lonely cellist on a hill" and Yve managed to capture it perfectly.

This is from the series of shots that eventually ended up on the back insert. After all the heavy emotion on the album, Anne-Lise needed something with a bit of a smile...she's working her way up to it in this photo. Photo by Yve Lavine.
The lonely cellist on the hill. Anne-Lise's cello makes a brief but mighty appearance on Planets Aligned in the song "Felt So Good". An emotion packed solo is befitting of the intensity of the song. Photo by Yve Lavine.
