Hello and welcome to Larsen Music. Setting the right mood for your event makes guests feel welcome, relaxed and special, and it can be so easily achieved with live music. With almost two decades experience in providing elegant live event music, I can help you with the daunting task of finding musicians specifically suited to your event's size, style and budget.

Under the Larsen Music umbrella, I specialise in performing as a solo cellist for your wedding ceremony, playing Bach and contemporary favourites such as Embraceable You and This Guy's In Love. Other quality music ensembles are also available, such as string duo, string trio, string quartet, cello and vocal duo, harp and cello duo which are ideal for your wedding ceremony/reception, corporate or social event. Larsen Music is a select network of talented, versatile and accomplished professional musicians which also extends to contemporary jazz/easy listening bands.

My background is that of a classically trained cellist who graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. I have freelanced as an orchestral player with various Australian professional orchestras, and a number of smaller string groups. My cello playing in one form or another has taken me all around the world, and I have been lucky to play in such exciting cities as Los Angeles, Tokyo and Shanghai, and fantastic Sydney venues such as the Sydney Opera House and The Basement.

You will deal directly with me, and I aim to make the music organisation part of your event planning as smooth as possible. "Classical" music sometimes intimidates people, but it shouldn't at all. Did you know, Mozart and Haydn were really considered the pop stars of their day? Please feel comfortable to ask any question with regards to the music for your event.
